ABOUT
Zeke Sethwill is the creative vision of an American writer, producer, filmmaker, and musician whose work lives where faith meets the dark. Based in the Quad Cities, he uses words, melodies, and visuals to search for solace. His creative journey leads him to the quiet places where brokenness becomes belief and pain gives birth to peace.
At twenty years old, Zeke graduated from Full Sail University and stepped into the heart of the entertainment industry. He spent years lending his technical ear to global icons, working in the shadows of fame. But while he stood next to greatness, he was privately wrestling with the abyss. He battled addiction and depression, surviving a near-fatal overdose that marked the beginning of a lifelong war for his own soul.
For eight years, he created and produced the paranormal reality series Afterlife Sessions to validate a childhood experience. He sought to preserve forgotten history and offer respect to those who could no longer stand against the world’s evil. Ironically, while the paranormal proved the existence of the spiritual realm, it was the loss of his mother that gave him the courage to seek Christ. Her passing revealed the true power of prayer, transforming a belief in spirits into a surrender to God. Having stood face-to-face with the devil before finding salvation in baptism later in life, Zeke knows that true redemption is forged in the dark.
Today, Zeke channels these experiences into storytelling that moves through shadow and spirit. Merging faith with cinematic expression, he explores the sacred weight of human emotion, inviting audiences to witness where pain becomes purpose. Guided by conviction and shaped by contrast, his vision is more than art; it is testimony, a reminder that even in silence and darkness, light is an ember waiting to be seen.
